Cath was a loving wife to Bob for 62 years, and a very much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Cath was a hard working member of the Liverpool City Netball Community. She devoted over 40 years as a committee member to building a community that encouraged people from all walks of life to participate in sport.  Sadly Cath passed away only 3 months after standing down as President, due to her ill health. 

 

Cath was being cared for in the Palliative Care Ward of Liverpool Hospital. Here on the day of Cath’s passing, the family was comforted by the lovely Jody and her wonderful little friend Bunny.  Bunny was able to be a light in the darkness for the family as they began to grieve. An accepting, calm, loving presence when they needed it most.

 

The family have donated to Paws Pet Therapy in memory of Cath. May Bunny and all the other wonderful Paws pets continue to bring love and happiness to the community.
